This is a Power Point Staff Presentation Tool done in a "Who wants to be a Millionaire" format. All employees were required to attend the 2 hour presentation. Non-clinical staff were let our early - before the Patient Care portion was presented. About a week after the presentation, each department selected a representative to participate in the actual game. These individuals were given a copy of the questions used in the review session. These questions were used in the game. Each person had to supply a lifeline ahead of time and any hospital employee was allowed to be in the audience. The grand prize (not a million dollars) was a cash gift certificate to Wal-Mart. Next time, we will consider a different participant selection process and additional prizes. There was a lot of excitement and anticipation about the game and employees were less 'grumbly' about attending the sessions because of the game.
